100 Days to go.....

The time for our big adventure is getting closer, 100 days to go and counting, I'm so excited…… What’s even better is that there are now 3 of us backpacking, well for the first 3 months anyway. My friend Bobbie has decided to join us until we leave Vietnam in March, where she will fly back to London when Toni and I fly to Australia….

I’ve known Bobbie for just over 3 years now, she will be reading this, so I have to watch what I say- that’s a joke Bobs!! Ha Ha

Seriously, Bobbie is a lovely girl she used to work where I do now, that’s how we met. Bobbie is 20 so younger than me but we get on like a house on fire, well at least I think we do- she brings out the fun side in me. Toni and Bobbie know each other too and get along which is handy.

It’s going to be Bobbie’s 21st birthday whilst we are in Thailand, I think she will miss her friends and family a lot on that day, but I’m going to make sure she has a really good time, on top of the fact that she will be spending her 21st in Paradise- lucky cow!!

Unfortunately Bobbie could not get on the same flight to Bangkok as Toni and I but she did manage to get a flight for the same day, she just lands in Bangkok a few hours earlier…..

And more exciting news is that quite a few mates of ours are going to Thailand for the full moon party for New Years Eve, some are staying as long as 1 month…. This was excellent news as we then convinced our friend Kelly and her fiancé Richard to come out to Thailand for a holiday; they have booked up and will be out there with us for the first 10 days… BONUS!!

Toni and I have known Kelly for over 10 years; she is one of our closest friends, it is going to be so hard to leave her for a whole year, we are like ‘three’ peas in a pod. So it makes it a bit easier knowing that she is going to be with us for the first 10 days of our big adventure….
