WHY?

So I got asked the other day, ‘after all of these years of saying that you want to go travelling, what finally gave you that push to actually book?’ Well I guess the main answer, is that I’ve just come out of a long term relationship, where my heart was broken, yet again; and I guess I am fed up with getting into relationships and letting all my ambition go out the window….. Come on lets face it, most of us have been there; you meet someone who you fall in love with, you become settled and then your dreams tend to go on the backburner whilst you plan a future with this person who you think is ‘the one’ and start making new dreams together…. I broke up with my ex 6 months ago now, and I haven’t seen him since. So after a few months of constant upset and feeling sorry for myself; came a few more months of going out with my friends, getting drunk, gaining attention off of guys for that little shred of superficial happiness. But then finally I decided there’s more to life than this, and it was about time I started to live my life and follow my dreams!
